Chambered Nautilus!

Introducing my next metal animal project inspired by the National Aquarium:

CHAMBERED NAUTILUS

In this project I see some distinct challenges.

1.  The compound curves and bends of the main shell.
   1. These will challenge me. I don’t have a forge, a torch, a stump, proper hammers, air hammers, or a fletching wheel to form metal on the way that I need to.
2. Scale,  I want this guy to be larger than life. The Chambered Nautilus has undergone little change in 400 Million years!  Rarely are they seen over 8 inches.  Mine will be about 2.5 feet in Diameter.
3. I’m off in search for some scrap metal!
